Mr. Speaker, we are happy to work with everyone in the House to stand against the Leader of the Opposition's anti-choice position and his anti-choice party. Yet again, today we heard one of his anti-choice members putting forward an anti-abortion narrative. The reality is that we are delivering prescription contraceptives for Canadians right across the country. We will deliver diabetes medication for Canadians right across the country for free. We are happy to work with the NDP and anyone in the House who wants to stand up for Canadians and for women's rights, unequivocally.

Mr. Speaker, across the country, including in Quebec, people are dealing with inadequate prescription drug coverage. That is why we are there to work hand in hand with the provinces and ensure that people can pay for their drugs from coast to coast to coast. We are always there to work constructively with the provinces to ensure that there is support and coverage for all Canadians.

Mr. Speaker, no one in Canada should have to choose between putting food on their table and paying for their prescription medications. That is why we are continuing our work to lower drug prices. The member opposite speaks about small changes. We have made big changes by moving forward on bulk-buying power, by including and developing a national strategy for drugs for rare diseases and by progressing toward a universal national pharmacare program, which includes tabling legislation and working to have it passed by the end of this year. We will continue to work to build a better health care system for all Canadians, and we welcome everyone in this House working together on that.
