Mr. Speaker, this Prime Minister's incompetence is not worth the cost. His actions and overspending at the federal level have made a mess of inflation, interest rates, the military, immigration and the list goes on. Instead of cleaning up his own mess at the federal level, he is creating other problems with costly announcements and meddling in provincial jurisdictions.
Why is the Prime Minister imposing his incompetence on Quebec's jurisdictions?

Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister has accomplished something only he could do. Our central bank, which can create cash, is actually losing money. How did this happen? He forced the central bank to create $600 billion in cash to fund his overspending over the last three years. To pay for it, the bank makes deposits into the accounts of large financial institutions. Interest rates on those deposits, of course, have gone through the roof, meaning that taxpayers are now forced to bail out those losses.
Will he admit that his incompetence now forces Canadians to pay twice: once for the inflation the money printing caused and twice to bail out the bank, which is failing?

Mr. Speaker, he is the one accusing Quebeckers of incompetence when he says that they are in charge of managing the Port of Montreal.
That is not true. The Port of Montreal is a federal port. He is the incompetent one, and the one who caused the problem. The same thing is happening at every port in Canada. The federal ports are mismanaged because of him. That is one of the reasons why we have this crime rate. We have common-sense solutions.
Will he put a stop to automatic releases and Netflix sentences, and will he restore competent management to all our ports across the country to prevent the auto theft crisis that he caused?

Mr. Speaker, I will say it again: His policies are more costly. Yes, he is a lot more costly.
The Conservatives spent less and had less auto theft. In fact, there were half as many car thefts in Montreal and two-thirds fewer in Toronto in 2015, the year that he took office. That is because he is releasing car thieves and mismanaging federal ports, which are plagued by incompetence.
Will he reverse the policies that caused the crisis?

Mr. Speaker, several years ago, a group of shady consultants gave fake admission letters to mostly Punjabi students who came here in good faith to study and be part of the Canadian family. They came here. They followed the law. They studied. Many of them completed their programs. It was the incompetent Liberal government that had accepted the letters in the first place.
Now, the government is kicking them out of the country and sending them home to poverty and bankruptcy for their families.
Why will the government not reverse its incompetence and show a little bit of common sense and compassion? Why will it not halt the deportation and allow those who came here in good faith and are contributing to our economy to apply for permanent residency?

Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister was up huffing and puffing last week, less than a week ago, about the Stellantis project, and now we find, six days later, that construction on the $5-billion facility has halted because of his incompetence. We see the same thing with the Trans Mountain pipeline, which is now 300% over-budget, many years past due and still not complete.
All the Prime Minister does is wrap our industry in red tape, weigh it down with taxes and engage in total incompetence. Why is it that he can never bring it home when it comes to jobs, paycheques and industry for our country?

Mr. Speaker, when the Conservatives were in power, there was no general strike and running the government cost one-third less.
It is a failure to increase the cost of the bureaucracy by 50%. It is a failure to have 150,000 workers go on strike. Having both at the same time demonstrates the Prime Minister's incredible incompetence.
How will the Prime Minister fix the damage he has caused to our government and our taxpayers?

Mr. Speaker, it is a failure to increase the cost of the bureaucracy by 50% with poorer services. It is a failure to have 150,000 workers go on strike in the biggest general strike in four decades. However, it is an especially incredible achievement of incompetence to do both of those things at the same time. Only the Prime Minister could pull that off. Now our veterans, immigrants, small businesses and taxpayers will be without services.
How will the Prime Minister fix the government he broke?

Madam Speaker, it has been three years since a killer went on a rampage in Nova Scotia. We now know of the incredible incompetence at the top of the RCMP that has raged on ever since the Prime Minister took office. He named an incompetent commissioner and has tried to destroy our national police force, with deadly consequences. Worse yet, the commission ignored the victims and he has done nothing to reverse the original cause of the violence in the first place.
Will the Prime Minister reverse the damage he has done so Canadians can live in safety and peace?

Madam Speaker, no, they are not, but they may well be. In fairness, Napoleon said to never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. That is a plausible theory for the government. At the same time, we need to know the truth.
When $54 million goes out the door and government officials cannot get their stories straight about where it went, the least we can do is to have an audit. Put the Auditor General in charge. Look into these costs. Find out who got the money, who got rich and why we spent $54 million on an app that could have been designed for a quarter of a million dollars.
Why did we waste this money when Canadians are paying so much? How could the government be so out of touch? We need answers. We need the truth. Support this motion and let us get to that truth.
