Mr. Speaker, the cost of ArriveCAN did not balloon all at once. The government needed votes to fund their corrupt $60-million app. The leader of the Bloc Québécois came to their rescue and voted with them not just once, but eight times. The Bloc Québécois continued to vote in favour of allocating millions of dollars more for ArriveCAN. It is costly to vote for the Bloc Québécois. In his defence, the leader of the Bloc Québécois said, “We are not going to scrutinize everything the government spends.” How can an opposition party not scrutinize spending? What is the point of voting for the Bloc Québécois?

Mr. Speaker, I rise on a point of order. I know we are not supposed to reflect on the vote that just took place, and the House generally does not take the same question twice, but if the government does want to avoid a marathon voting session, all it has to do is take the carbon tax off of farmers, families and first nations.

Mr. Speaker, I am not sure exactly what caused so many members to have challenges with the voting app. I would point out to the hon. member that whatever concerns she may have about people clarifying their vote through a hybrid mechanism would not be required if we did not have hybrid. If members had to be here physically, then obviously that would not happen, so if she was vexed by the amount of time that may have taken, not proceeding with hybrid preservation would probably solve that problem.
