Madam Speaker, common sense has come to town. It has made it to Ottawa. The Conservatives have just realized, in 2023, that senators are not elected. They are complaining that senators are not democratically elected. We have known this for a long time. We have known for a long time that the upper chamber is a waste of time. Instead of wasting our time and complaining that things are not being decided democratically, my colleague may be interested in my solution. I would love to hear what he has to say about this. Why not abolish the Senate?
