Mr. Speaker, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional achievements of Macadam Sud, an organization in my riding that is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Macadam Sud's mission is to support and empower troubled adolescents and young adults by tackling issues such as homelessness, mental health, school drop-outs and isolation, to name just a few. A large part of the Macadam Sud team is made up of street outreach workers. They meet young people in their environment and offer them support without judging them, with respect and dignity. I want to congratulate all the members of the current Macadam Sud team for the important work they are doing. I also want to thank all those who, over the past 40 years, have contributed to the organization's mission and consequently enabled many young people in Longueuil—Charles-LeMoyne to improve their quality of life. I wish Macadam Sud continued success.

Madam Speaker, this evening I will have pleasure of attending a special dinner to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Centre d'action bénévole de Saint‑Hubert. The primary mission of this important social actor, which is located in my riding, is to promote volunteerism and respond to needs in our community. Through its volunteers, it offers essential services to the public and provides valuable assistance to the most vulnerable. This includes services like meals on wheels, medical transportation and caring calls for wellness checks. The Centre d'action bénévole de Saint‑Hubert is a model of care and outreach that makes a real difference in the lives of my constituents. I also want to point out that it never ceased operations, even at the height of the health crisis. I would like to offer my sincerest thanks and congratulations to the Centre d'action bénévole de Saint‑Hubert on its 50 years of commitment to our community.

Mr. Speaker, Ressources Saint-Jean-Vianney is a community organization in my riding that helps vulnerable people in the Saint-Jean-Vianney neighbourhood of Longueuil. This year, this organization is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and I want to acknowledge what an important role it plays in our community. This organization helps young people by hosting sports activities and a summer camp. It supports low‑income people by organizing soup kitchens. It helps parents by providing them with support services and training. It brings immigrants out of isolation through intercultural, educational and social activities and so much more. I congratulate its executive director, Lyes Chekal, for his dedication, and I salute his entire dynamic team, who are always giving the best of themselves to meet the needs of our community. I wish them a happy 20th anniversary.
