Madam Speaker, I have a question and I am going to look to my colleague because I know she has a lot of experience in the labour movement. If Quebec's major labour unions could step up and give people in the building trades a little more flexibility, would that help increase the number of affordable and social housing units? Costs are the problem. Builders in Quebec no longer want to build social housing because it costs too much. Could we tackle the issue that way?

Mr. Speaker, Liberal inaction has struck again, creating an unprecedented vicious cycle for Canadian entrepreneurs who are facing a labour shortage hell. This is yet another issue on top of the problems with EI, passports, foreign workers, permanent residency and identity theft in Canada. What does this Prime Minister intend to do about his overall incompetence?

Mr. Speaker, the temporary foreign worker saga continues. A number of businesses in my riding received their confirmation letters of a positive labour market impact assessment on April 15, 2022, after more than eight months of waiting. That is far too long and the process is not even complete. The government has a duty to simplify the process for approving temporary foreign workers. At some point it needs to walk the talk. When will it do so?
