Lebanese Heritage Month Act
  • This bill aims to designate the month of November as "Lebanese Heritage Month" in Canada. The purpose of this designation is to acknowledge and celebrate the significant contributions of Lebanese Canadians to Canadian society, culture, and politics. The bill also aims to encourage Lebanese Canadians to promote their heritage and traditions while sharing them with other Canadians. Additionally, the resources and efforts required to implement and promote a new heritage month could be better utilized in supporting and strengthening existing heritage months or initiatives that promote inclusivity for all communities.
