March 24, 2022
  • Bill C-259 is a proposed amendment to the Aeronautics Act in Canada. The purpose of this bill is to require certain types of aircraft to be equipped with a GPS-based collision avoidance system. Specifically, gliders with an enclosed cockpit that weigh more than 200 kg, as well as any aircraft used for towing those gliders, would be required to have this system.
