Mr. Speaker, today I want to highlight our firm commitment to Canada's middle class. The government is investing in policies to support families, including by offering affordable child care and benefits for children. We understand that the well-being of the middle class is the pillar of our prosperous economy. At the same time, we are enhancing pensions plans to ensure that seniors have financial security and we are investing in clean energy for a green and prosperous future. For Argenteuil—La Petite‑Nation, our government will continue to grow, invest in human capital, improve equal opportunity and promote a modern economy. We are not going back to the Stone Age. On the contrary, we are determined to move forward to a prosperous and equitable future for all Canadians.
