Mr. Speaker, for 40 years, Société Alzheimer Laurentides, based in Sainte‑Agathe‑des‑Monts, has worked tirelessy to support people with all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's. It also provides support to caregivers and families in the vast Laurentian region. I would like to highlight the invaluable contribution that this organization makes within the community. All workers and volunteers are the backbone of the organization, because they provide a social safety net and ensure that patients are treated with humanity. In my personal life, I have witnessed the immense contribution of these organizations and what they do. They have my gratitude and appreciation. Having had to live with my father when he was losing his autonomy, I know first-hand that these services need to be there for communities. Let us ensure the sustainability of Société Alzheimer Laurentides.
