Mr. Speaker, I hope I will do better than my hon. colleagues in terms of getting consent. There have been discussions among the parties, and if you seek it, I hope you will find unanimous consent to adopt the following motion: That this House emphasizes that Canada is a welcoming country, open to the world, invested in the fight against anti-Semitism and all forms of discrimination; and condemns the false, defamatory and offensive remarks made by the Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.
