Mr. Speaker, after nine years of the Liberal-NDP Prime Minister, hunger and homelessness are up, as one in four Canadians is food insecure. It is because the carbon tax scam leaves Canadians with less money in their pockets, food in their bellies and fuel in their cars. The Prime Minister and the carbon tax scam are not worth the cost. The Conservatives are calling for all federal fuel taxes to be axed this summer so that Canadian families can save an average of $670. Will the road-raging finance minister stop the road-trip wrecking and implement this common-sense Conservative ask, yes or no?

Mr. Speaker, Liberals misled Canadians for eight years about their carbon tax scam. They claimed that it would put more into the pockets of Canadians than what they paid into it, but the Liberal environment minister admitted that they misled Canadians and the PBO backed that up in its current report on the carbon tax scam. Our hard-working truck drivers are going to get slammed with an extra $150 in costs every single time they fuel up because of this scam. This carbon tax scam is going to cost Canadians more so Liberals can continue to virtue-signal and fill up their own coffers. Why does the Prime Minister not stop virtue-signalling, stop punishing Canadians for eating, heating and living, and scrap the scam?

Mr. Speaker, after eight years of the current Liberal Prime Minister, Canadians are suffering more than ever. His out-of-control spending fuelled a 40-year high in inflation. Rents have doubled. Home heating has doubled. Even food inflation has gone up. He pile-drove Canadians further by taking more off their paycheques and is going to take even more and cause even more suffering when he triple, triple, triples his failed carbon tax scam. Will the Prime Minister show some humility and take the tax off so that Canadians can keep the heat on?

Mr. Speaker, Liberals continue to throw fuel on the inflationary fire and cause home heating costs to go up. Instead of addressing the real issue, Liberals are spending $250 million to make Canadians buy heat pumps they cannot even use this winter season. Today we learned the government will impose its crippling carbon tax on all Atlantic provinces, forcing families to take a heat pump handout instead of letting Canadians choose what works best for their own homes. Why will the Liberal government not do the right thing, get out of the way and axe the carbon tax on home heating?
