Mr. Speaker, after eight years of the Liberal government, more and more Canadians are using food banks. People are so hungry that tensions are rising in lineups, so much so that the police have to intervene to restore order while food is being distributed. Nevertheless, the Liberal government, supported by the Bloc Québécois, is going to increase the carbon tax again on April 1, and that is no April Fool's joke. It is very costly to vote for the Bloc Québécois. Apart from increasing the suffering of Quebeckers, what is the point of voting for the Bloc Québécois?

Mr. Speaker, this Prime Minister's inflationary policies are causing terrible harm and immense sadness. For instance, the exponential rise in the cost of rent, which has doubled in recent years, is forcing people onto the streets or into debt. A woman with a disability in the Montreal area has no choice but to live in a motel and put the cost on her credit card because she cannot find suitable housing at a reasonable price. What does the Prime Minister have to say to this woman who is suffering?

Mr. Speaker, after eight years of this government, Canadians are struggling. Every month, inflation takes more and more of their paycheque, and 1.5 million people used food banks in one month. Students are living in shelters. Mothers have to choose between feeding the child they have or the child they have on the way. What is this out-of-touch government telling us? It is saying that Canadians have never felt so good. What will it take for the Prime Minister to see and hear that Canadians are suffering?
