Bill C-287 is a proposed law that aims to amend the Pest Control Products Act in Canada. The main change it proposes is to prohibit the manufacturing, possession, handling, storage, transportation, importation, distribution, or use of glyphosate as a pest control product. Glyphosate is a commonly used herbicide. If this bill becomes law, it would cancel the registration of products containing glyphosate. The proposed change would come into effect one year after the bill receives royal assent.
