An Act to amend the Competition Act (vehicle repair)
  • Bill C-231 is a proposed law that aims to amend the Competition Act in order to give independent vehicle repair providers access to diagnostic and repair information, as well as service parts, on the same terms as authorized repair providers. The purpose of this bill is to promote competition in the vehicle repair market and prevent manufacturers from hindering or eliminating independent repair providers.
