National Diffuse Midline Glioma Awareness Day Act
  • Bill S-260 designates May 17th of every year as "National Diffuse Midline Glioma Awareness Day" in Canada. Diffuse midline glioma is a type of aggressive brain tumor that affects children and has no cure. The goal of this bill is to increase public awareness of the disease and encourage investment in research to improve prognosis and treatment. May 17th is already recognized as a diffuse midline glioma awareness day in other countries.
