National Strategy for the Prevention of Intimate Partner Violence Act
  • Bill S-249, titled the National Strategy for the Prevention of Intimate Partner Violence Act, aims to develop a national strategy to prevent intimate partner violence. The Minister must prepare a report on the national strategy, which will be presented to Parliament within two years of the bill's passing. Additionally, a review of the strategy will be conducted two years after the report's presentation, with the Minister providing conclusions and recommendations in a subsequent report.
