Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Old Age Security Act

1Subparagraph (c)‍(i.‍1) of the definition income in section 2 of the Old Age Security Act is replaced by the following:

  • (i.‍1)the amount of the payment under the program referred to in section Insertion start 275 Insertion end of the Budget Implementation Act, 2021, No. 1,

income of a person for a calendar year means the person’s income for the year, computed in accordance with the Income Tax Act, except that
