  • t Charges Act, 1997 Schedule 4 Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing Act Schedule 5 Municipal Act, 2001 Schedule 6 Planning Act Schedule 7 Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 The argument against this is that the use of Schedules to amend multiple statutes could lead to confusion and misunderstandings. It may be difficult for individuals, particularly those not familiar with the legislative process, to fully comprehend the changes being made and how they will affect them. Additionally, the use of Schedules could potentially allow for controversial amendments to slip through unnoticed, as individuals may not realize the extent of the changes being made. It may be more transparent and clear to amend each statute separately and provide clear explanations for each change being made.
