Appropriation Act No. 1, 2023-24
  • This bill is called the Appropriation Act No. 1, 2023-24. It grants a total sum of $89,678,492,027 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, to cover charges and expenses of the federal public administration that are not otherwise provided for. The sum is allocated towards various departments and purposes, such as the Canadian Space Agency, Canadian Transportation Agency, Department of Citizenship and Immigration, Department of Health, Department of Industry, and Department of Public Works and Government Services. The bill also includes provisions for adjustments in the accounts of Canada and the order of payment for the allocated amounts.
