Somali Heritage Month Act
  • Bill C-348 is a law that designates the month of July as "Somali Heritage Month". This is because Canada has a large population of people of Somali heritage who have made important contributions to the country. The law aims to recognize and celebrate these contributions, as well as the rich culture and heritage of the Somali people. The law states that every year, throughout Canada, the month of July will be known as Somali Heritage Month.
