Peacetime Service and Sacrifice Memorial Day Act
  • This bill designates October 22nd as "Peacetime Service and Sacrifice Memorial Day" in Canada. It aims to encourage all Canadians to remember and honor Canadian Armed Forces members who have lost their lives on Canadian soil during peacetime. On this day, the national flag on the Peace Tower will be lowered to half-mast.
