Madam Speaker, I am glad to rise today in recognition of International Human Rights Day, which recognizes worldwide the principle of the right to equality, justice and freedom for all. International Human Rights Day also shines a light on the continued oppression of populations and groups around the world, such as the people of Myanmar. Could the minister update the House on the work being done to support the people of Myanmar?
